Production of advanced zirconium alloy materials in China

On January 24, China Nuclear Power Group announced that the first batch of zirconium alloy materials, cf3 nuclear fuel assemblies, which met the requirements of the third generation of nuclear power, developed by China, was successfully downgraded and accepted. Its comprehensive performance index is in the international advanced ranks, and shipment for cf3 nuclear fuel element manufacturing.This marks that our country has broken the foreign long-term monopoly and made a solid step on the road of large-scale application.This is also another important achievement for the China Nuclear Power Group to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Party and the spirit of the series of important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and to provide strong support for the transition from a nuclear power to a nuclear power.

Zirconium alloy material has become the main bottleneck of nuclear fuel industry development in our country, and it is the main short board of nuclear fuel industry.
